What is PPD & CPA?
Paid Per Download (also known as PPD) is an online monetizing technique used by millions of people. This techniques involves valuable content being uploaded to a ” Paid Per Download ” network. When this valuable content is downloaded by a user, the uploader will be paid a sum of money for that download. Users who wants to download these valuable content must first complete a task given by the ” Paid Per Download ” network before given access to the valuable content. These surveys are supplied by the network’s upstream provider (CPA Networks). Cost Per Action is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement.

I’m in a network, now what?
Now that you’re in a network, I’ll show you some basic tools that all networks should have to help you get started. I’ll be using File Ice as an example.
Earnings Summary

Earnings Summary is a feature that summarizes all your earnings and affiliate earnings.
This is useful as you are able to check how much you’ve earned per day, per month, or all time.
Earnings Breakdown & Statistics

This squeezes all your earnings such as referral, premium, normal and others into a graph so you’ll be able to check your earnings. (P.S. – I don’t use File Ice anymore so earnings are $0.)
Widget Generators

Widget Generators are a great way of earning money if you do not wish to hotlink your traffic to your PPD network. Instead, you can make surveys popup at your own site. These generators are fully customizable.
File Manager

This tool is for you to upload all your files and manage them.

How to find niches

Google Keyword Tool
Tutorial
1) Enter several niches / trends into the ” Word or phrase ” textbox.

2) Select category if all niches / trends are similar.

3) Select your target region, I normally chose United States or France.

4) Press the Search button and look at results.

5) Use niches with low-medium competition.

How to set up a niche!
Niches are what brings in the cash! Are you a programmer, a writer, a marketing genius or a singer? There’s tons of possibilities. You can upload anything that you think is valuable, such as source code, e-books, music (NO COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS!), videos, etc. But first, you’ll need some sort of way to get traffic. To do so, you must first set up a niche. If you have some money, perhaps you can start your own website, maybe websites that offers source codes, or e-books. You’ll just have to be creative. There are also ” niche scripts ” where you can utilize scripts to help increase your earnings. Some examples of ” niche scripts ” are BETA Codes for games.
To set up a niche script, you’ll need some things:
Niche Script
Hosting
Domain
SEO / SMM
To obtain a niche scripts, you can head over to: http://monetizingheaven.com and obtain a script from the Pay Per Download section, or you can use WordPress as it is a very easy to use software. Another alternative to getting niche script is making your own. Making your own may sound hard, but a program called InstantNiches eases your stress and does it for you with a few simple clicks. As for hosting, you’ll need to pay for it or use free hosting that doesn’t work as well as paid. As for paid hosting, I do recommend http://auroradrive.net. For domains, you can use DOT TK Domains or CO.CC Domains but they are not SEO friendly as TLDs (Top Level Domains). To buy a domain, you can go to http://namecheap.com. If you’re short of cash, you can buy .info which is only 3.99$ per year.
Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization plays a big role if you wish to be Page Rank 1. Most niches already used by others, but some do not SEO their sites, thus making their sites useless. Here are some tips on how to perform SEO:
Meta Tags
Meta Tags are useful for SEO, even though they are not important anymore. It was abused by web masters till Search Engines have to make Meta Tags a little more useless. Although they aren’t as useful as they used to be, they still help!
Here is an example on how to use Meta Tags:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=iso-8859-1″>
<title>Title</title>
<meta name=”description” content=”Your description”>
<meta name=”keywords” content=”keyword1 keyword2″>
</head>
<body>
Content
</body>
</html>

Back Links
Back links are links that are inbound to your website. Back links plays an important role in SEO as they help determine your page ranks. The quality of the back links also matters, as they also help determine your rank! If there is links in places where the niche is out of context, it’ll be determined as a bad link.
For more information regarding Back Links & Page Rank algorithms, check out the Wikipedia Pages here:

Sitemap
Providing Google a sitemap of your site will help search engines better crawl and categorize your site. You can easily create and verify a sitemap for any of your publicly viewable Google Sites through Google Webmaster Tools.
To submit a sitemap, go to: http://support.google.com/sites/bin/answ…wer=100283
Content
Content is a very important factor. The most important one, in fact. Without any content, your site will not be crawled. Inside your content, try to list your keywords a few times, but not too many. You can write a 500 words article with your keyword in between every word but that’ll just reduce the quality of the article and make your keyword’s density high. A short 250 words article with 2-5 mentions works fine.
SEO Friendly Site
Is your site SEO friendly? Some tips are to use PAID web hosting as they are generally faster than free hosting. Google does penalized for slow-page load times so you might want to get lightning fast hosting using LiteSpeed! (auroradrive.net). Using IFRAMES are bad too as they do not index the content inside the frame. Using images instead of text is bad too as they do not index images!
One final tip: NO SPLASH SCREENS! Your homepage is the one with the content, NOT YOUR SPLASH SCREENS!
Social Media Marketing / Optimization
Social Media is one of the best ways to get traffic. Using sites such as Facebook and Twitter can boost your traffic by ten folds. Here are some ways you can get traffic:
Facebook Pages
Facebook Pages are a GOLD MINE for traffic. If you managed to get your hands on a page with 100k likes, you’ll get alot of traffic as most users browse Facebook EVERYDAY! If you’re unlucky like me, and can’t get pages with thousands and thousands of likes, you can get these shout outs by paying pages!
A common place to purchase these kind of service is http://fiverr.com
Twitter
Twitter, with a 160 characters maximum, you might think that it’ll be hard to get traffic. WRONG! This is where Twitter comes in handy. Twitter helps you summarize your content into a SMALL paragraph. This will help improve your summarizing and keywords. If you don’t have access to a Twitter account with thousands of followers, you can purchase shout outs from a website called:
